I'm customizing homepage Twig template. There's a thing I cannot find in Spryker nor Symfony documentation.
What is the meaning follwing?

or
{% extends template('page-critical-path') %}

Hi, both lines are describing a twig template inheritance of the following templates:

2. https://github.com/spryker-shop/shop-ui/blob/master/src/SprykerShop/Yves/ShopUi/Theme/default/templates/page-critical-path/page-critical-path.twig

@U019JM2HE7N I familiarized with above articles, and I understand what extends itself means.
What I do not get is what view and template means and why they're used with brackets. This is what I was not able to find in docs.

Hey @U0423SP2ZP0, thanks for specifying your question! These are custom Twig functions which resolves your template in a specific folder. Otherwise you would have to specify a complete folder path inside the given namespace:
