What are the Slack Archives?
Itβs a history of our time together in the Slack Community! Thereβs a ton of knowledge in here, so feel free to search through the archives for a possible answer to your question.
Because this space is not active, you wonβt be able to create a new post or comment here. If you have a question or want to start a discussion about something, head over to our categories and pick one to post in! You can always refer back to a post from Slack Archives if needed; just copy the link to use it as a reference..
Heya, is there a good example somewhere of a middleware build? maybe in the core zed namespace?

This is telling my to build some files, but it's not immediately clear how to arrange them...

End goal here is to spike out middleware that imports some data from an xml/json/csv, looks like maybe I need a data importer and then I can call that from somewhere within the layers of the middleware

looks like maybe this will provide some context: https://github.com/spryker-eco/akeneo-pim-middleware-connector/blob/master/src/SprykerEco/Zed/AkeneoPimMiddlewareConnector/Communication/Plugin/Configuration/DefaultProductImportConfigurationPlugin.php
Although it would be great to have a more minimal example. We'll see how this goes...

That was a bit rough. Docs could use some work. Is there some way I can build this in stages to verify each step, i.e. the reader reads a file and idk var dumps somewhere or logs somewhere?

There is a branch created two years ago to demo integration with Akeneo PIM using middleware.

Thanks @valerii.trots Not actually trying to integrate Akeneo, want to build a middleware spike that reads a test file through the process: csv, json, xml... file type isn't important. Developing a proof of concept middleware that follows Spryker best practices and reads a file into the db. Was using the Akeneo integration as an example, but I'm guessing there is a much simpler way to go about it...
I'll put some work in to clarify today.
