Yes, you can have discounts on specific sku's

but I cant just exclude categories from the query builder in the discount.
Because now I have to create some list somewhere with all the skus. (in our case possible), but not something you want. Would be nicer to have it simple in spryker zed

Sorry missunderstood the question, you want to give discounts on a products by blacklisting categories?
To my knowledge there is no discount rule for categories by default, but you can implement one with the interface
