There is only Spryker apps and static sites supported OOTB.
It is no easy way to integrate separate app.
You can look at the implementation for static and replace it with specific nginx conf in static….conf.twig.

I think then it would be easier to run the app in different container …

but the problem is that it depends on spryker db 🤔
