hello everybody, is there a way to overwrite the receiver/sender of emails that are about to be sent? i am working on an environment which prohibits emails being sent to non-verified users (in AWS) and its really starting to hurt.

    If it's about our PaaS\cloud, sender is defined via Terraform by us.
    What is the use case? You can verify receiver once and the problem is solved.

    the problem is, that we are using unverifiable email addresses in our staging environment (dummy users etc) and we dont have a mail hog configured

    If it's about an automated testing, I would suggest to move SES for Staging out of the sandbox mode.

    sorry, the use case is just manual testing and verification of features by our client

    So I see two ways currently: either to use verifiable emails or you can create support request to disable sandbox for SES for the account.

    Sorry, I'm not aware how\if it's possible to workaround problem from the application side. Maybe someone will advise something here but I doubt.

    Yes, I think disabling the sandbox mode would be the best option. thank you for your support ๐Ÿ™‚
