What is the standard practice to connect to dockerized Redis in Spryker? I believe that internal redis service is not exposed by any port, no?

Locally via docker/sdk there is redis commander preinstalled that can be used. If you use fresh spryker/docker-sdk.

In the cloud Redis endpoint can be found in task definitions and then it's up to you what client to use to connect to it.

Locally. docker/sdk appears to have no command for launching redis? 🤔 Do I need to attach to redis container and install dependencies using npm or something? Also I tried doing docker/sdk cli and then launching redis-commander from there, but nope

Did you tried to call <http://redis-commander.spryker.local> (see https://github.com/spryker-shop/b2b-demo-shop/blob/master/deploy.dev.yml#L191).

If you already have a Redis Client locally, you can also use localhost:16379 (see https://github.com/spryker-shop/b2b-demo-shop/blob/master/deploy.dev.yml#L171) to connect to the redis running inside you docker container.
