hello! question for the spryker training team… upon installing the “b2c-demo-shop” (OSX intel w/ Docker), got an error on failure to clone clone https://github.com/codeitnowin/barcode-generator.git, which looks to be unavail due to DMCA takedown. I cowboyed it, removing the offending lines in composer, which enabled installation as expected. 1) is this component needed? 2) if so, guidance on installing? also, i assume i did something dumb, new to the platform, be gentle, please.

Hey, I'm not a part of training team but I wonder if you tried to install latest demo shop actually?

ah, could be, @valerii.trots: grabbed clone syntax from academy reference materials, perhaps branch is out of date:
git clone https://github.com/spryker-shop/b2c-demo-shop.git -b 202204.0 --single-branch ./b2c-demo-shop

Yep, this one is buggy because of the repo that was shut down due to DMCA.
Please use newer release.0 -
