What are the Slack Archives?

It’s a history of our time together in the Slack Community! There’s a ton of knowledge in here, so feel free to search through the archives for a possible answer to your question.

Because this space is not active, you won’t be able to create a new post or comment here. If you have a question or want to start a discussion about something, head over to our categories and pick one to post in! You can always refer back to a post from Slack Archives if needed; just copy the link to use it as a reference..

@UK7TM6CQJ first of all - it is a community, not the group of people that owe you support. Please be thankful and respectful to people. Every one here has their work to do, no one is working here for the channel

second, what’s your business problem with that queries? Any performance issues that you must fix?

sorry I didn't knew here would create such a drama, I thought I could get a quicker answer by pinging there. apologies...

our current scenario is that we save categories through zed api, when there's not many products assigned it works fine, but with the products in, it runs too many of these touch queries and times out

probably it triggers events for all products assgined to that categs? probably for parent categs as well?

maybe you noticed this behaviour as well when saving a category in zed interface?

@UK7TM6CQJ How about not using @here in the channel so that 176 people get the notification. What you will achieve that people will mute the channel and even less people will respond to your question. This is a community slack, if you have support question place a ticket on support.spryker.com

or what was the starting point?

if you can't see the changes in categories then probably they are not exported to Redis

in legacy shop you need to run vendor/bin/console collector:storage:export

    in newer console sync:data

this means you are talking about the newer one, we started from the suite demoshop

we know about sync:data, we do not need that
